Potential postdoctoral fellows: Please send a letter explaining your background and interests and reasons for wanting to join our lab, along with a CV to mbeisen@berkeley.edu. Please also arrange for your graduate advisor and anyone else you think is relevant to send letters of recommendation to the same address. Please note that as a general rule I expect all postdoctoral fellows to secure their own funding, for your own benefit as well as that of the lab.
Prospective graduate students: Most of my students enter through the Molecular and Cell Biology graduate program, although I have had, and welcome, students from Integrative Biology, Biophysics and Computational Biology. Undergraduates: We have some slots for undergraduate researchers interested in pursuing independent research projects in the lab.
